The Alchemy in Your Cup

• The Protective Shield (Clove, Nutmeg, Black and White Pepper): These robust, fiery, and protective spices work instantly to clear out stagnant or crossed conditions in your personal aura. They act as a warming barrier, driving off external stress, daily exhaustion, and spiritual sluggishness.
• The Attraction Magnet (Cinnamon, Star Anise, Orange, and Apple): This timeless, solar combination works rapidly to heat up your personal environment, sharpen your psychic opening, and sweeten your path. It raises your vital energy, pulling success, good fortune, and sharp focus directly to you.

How the Kitchen Magic Works:

Traditional Ways to Fix Your Brew:

• Activate the Back Spell: Turn your Witches Brew Chai pouch over. Place your hand over the hand-printed Witches Power Sigil, clear your mind, and read the handwritten spell aloud to activate the herbs.
• The Morning Petition: As you stir your tea clockwise, speak your desires into the steam. Visualize the honey or sugar you add sweetening your disposition and drawing favor to your day.
• The Cleansing Ritual: Drink a warm cup before beginning a meditation session, writing out a petition paper, or performing a candle spell to align your mind and boost your personal command.

Brewing Instructions & Serving Recommendations:

• To fully release both the rich flavours and the spiritual potency fixed within the herbs, shake the pouch gently before scooping to distribute the spices evenly.
• Steep 1 to 2 teaspoons of loose tea in 8 ounces of boiling water (212°F) for 5 to 7 minutes depending on how robust you like your chai.
• For a traditional kitchen-witch finish, this blend is spectacular when simmered on the stove with a splash of milk (or oat milk) and sweetened with raw honey or brown sugar. As you stir your sweetener clockwise, focus on drawing your desires, luck, and financial blessings directly into your cup.

Mugwort Tea has a long history of use in both folk magic and traditional herbal practice, valued for its connection to dreams, intuition, and gentle bodily support. Earthy and slightly bitter, this tea is often enjoyed in the evening or as part of a ritual, meditation, or wind-down routine. In magical traditions, mugwort is closely associated with the moon and is used to enhance dream work, psychic awareness, and spiritual protection, making it a favorite among witches and intuitive practitioners.

Traditionally, mugwort tea has also been used in herbal folklore to support relaxation, digestion, and overall balance, especially when the body or mind feels tense or unsettled. Its warming, aromatic nature has made it a classic choice for occasional use rather than everyday drinking.

Traditionally associated uses include:

• Dream work, lucid dreaming, and intuition
• Relaxation and calming the mind
• Digestive comfort and gentle herbal support

Mugwort tea is best used mindfully and in small amounts, honouring its strong traditional reputation in both magical and herbal traditions.

Important notes:

Butterfly pea flower tea is a beautiful, magickal tea. It's flowers have magickal properties of transformation, serenity, love and protection. It's high in antioxidants which helps to protect your body from cell damage, high blood pressure, and helps slow premature aging. This is a perfect cup to me!

The flowers are deep blue in color with a tinge of purple that colors and flavors the water. The color goes from blue to purple when the pH level changes. Adding something acidic like lemon juice changes the color. It’s like magic!

Butterfly pea flower is a herbal tea and derives from the plant clitoria ternatea, named that because it’s shape supposedly resembles female genitalia. It is common in Thailand and Malaysia. In Thai restaurants, it is used as a natural food coloring or dye for sticky rice desserts and puddings.

Health Benefits:

Drinking a cup of blue tea once or twice a week on an empty stomach flushes out toxins accumulated in the system and vastly improves digestive health.

The flowers are blessed with a multitude of potent antioxidants like polyphenols, tannins, catechins, as well as immense valuable phytonutrients, that display tremendous memory boosting, antihyperlipidemic, antihyperglycemic and analgesic characteristics.

Aside from bequeathing a luminous complexion, accelerating weight loss, renewing skin tissues and ameliorating hair growth, a cup of piping hot caffeine-free blue tea holds high therapeutic values in rectifying the symptoms of myriad ailments like diabetes, atherosclerosis, glaucoma and is truly an energizing and nourishing drink.

A few fun recipes:

You can combine the flowers with different herbs, to change colors and flavour. Combine with hibiscus flowers, the drink turns bright red, with citrus, it turns a pretty purple.  You can also blend it with chamomile, lemongrass and add sugar.

1. Spice up your morning lemon water by turning your water purple, not to mention the added health benefits. Lemon water is already great for boosting your metabolism, so supercharge it by adding butterfly pea flower.

Turning water naturally blue is also a fun way to encourage kids to drink more water.

2. I love how the colour gradient changes from blue to purple when you make magickal purple lemonade. You can also make a galaxy lemonade slushy

3. Use the flowers to naturally dye food, such as making purple boiled eggs, add to bread dough & rice.

4. Give your cocktails a natural burst of blue, purple or pink with butterfly pea flower. Brew as many flowers as you’d like in just enough water to cover them for about 2 minutes and then adding this to your drink. Leave the flowers for a gorgeous garnish.
