Butterfly pea flower tea is a beautiful, magickal tea. It's flowers have magickal properties of transformation, serenity, love and protection. It's high in antioxidants which helps to protect your body from cell damage, high blood pressure, and helps slow premature aging. This is a perfect cup to me!

The flowers are deep blue in color with a tinge of purple that colors and flavors the water. The color goes from blue to purple when the pH level changes. Adding something acidic like lemon juice changes the color. It’s like magic!

Butterfly pea flower is a herbal tea and derives from the plant clitoria ternatea, named that because it’s shape supposedly resembles female genitalia. It is common in Thailand and Malaysia. In Thai restaurants, it is used as a natural food coloring or dye for sticky rice desserts and puddings.

Good Juju Tea Ritual

I love to brew this tea during road opening or abundance work. Set the mood, light an orange or yellow candle, and dress it with Blessing, Van Van, or Road Opening Oil. As your tea steeps, hold your hands near the cup and visualize good luck, good people, and positive opportunities flowing toward you. If you add honey or sugar, stir clockwise and say:

“Good energy surrounds me. Good karma flows through me. I welcome blessings, luck, and joy into my day.”

Sip slowly and carry that good juju with you wherever you go.

Apple is associated with love, abundance, and sweetness — a heart-centered ingredient that draws good things near. Rosehip supports emotional healing, resilience, and gentle protection. How to Make a Blue Butterfly Pea Latte

1. Whisk 1 tsp of powder into ¼ cup of hot water (75°C) until fully dissolved and smooth.
2. Warm and froth your milk of choice — oat or coconut milk work beautifully.
3. Pour the frothed milk over the blue concentrate.
4. Sweeten with honey, agave, or lavender syrup to taste.
5. Optional: squeeze a little lemon over the top and watch it bloom from blue to purple. Pure magic.
