Evil Eye Soap is a handmade, proprietary spiritual cleansing bar created to help wash away, and protect yourself from negativity, jealousy, harmful intentions, and unwanted energy.

Made at Smudge by Michelle, with all-natural ingredients including mint, eucalyptus, lemon verbena, Espanta Muerto, rue, bluing powder, and other traditional cleansing botanicals, this soap is crafted for both physical cleansing and spiritual protection.

The evil eye is one of the oldest protective beliefs in the world, found in Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, North African, Latin American, Jewish, Islamic, Greek, Roman, Hindu, and many folk traditions. It is commonly understood as negative energy caused by envy, jealousy, gossip, or ill-wishing, whether intentional or unintentional. Protective symbols, blue charms, cleansing herbs, and ritual washes have long been used to guard against this energy and restore spiritual balance.

Use Evil Eye Soap in the bath or shower with focused intention, allowing the water to carry away negativity, envy, crossed conditions, and heavy energy. As you wash, focus on cleansing your aura, returning harmful energy to its source, and surrounding yourself with protection. For stronger spiritual work, use before lighting an evil eye candle, dressing yourself with protection oil, or setting up a cleansing ritual.

Ways to Use:

• Use in the shower or bath to cleanse away negativity and jealousy
• Wash from head to toe while focusing on protection and renewal
• Use before candle work, spell work, or spiritual cleansing rituals
• Pair with Evil Eye Oil to strengthen protection work
• Use after stressful interactions, gossip, conflict, or feeling energetically drained

Properties of Sage & Cedar

Sage
Traditionally used for cleansing and purification, sage helps clear negative or stagnant energy, refresh the aura, and reset spiritual spaces.

Cedar
Cedar is deeply grounding and protective, associated with stability, strength, and calm. It helps anchor energy, reinforce boundaries, and create a sense of safety and balance.

Together, sage and cedar create a blend that clears without overstimulating and grounds without heaviness, making it ideal for regular use.

Aromatherapy Benefits

The essential oil blend in this spray is chosen for its calming and grounding properties. Orange is uplifting and mood-softening, easing tension and promoting warmth and ease. The herbal base supports a sense of calm and centeredness — ideal for winding down after a high-stress day, resetting between tasks, or preparing for sleep.

A portion of every purchase supports Hiatus House in Windsor, helping women and children in the community find safety, support, and healing.
