Mushroom Candle

One of our customer favourites! These mushroom candles are magical indeed! The sacred mushroom - amanita muscaria - fly agaric, also known as the Flesh of the Gods. This iconic 'toadstool' was used as a sacred plant ally for tens of thousands of years in tribes in the Northern Hemisphere- it's flesh holds transportive and hallucinogenic properties that allowed our ancestors to commune with the Divine and the ancestors, to learn deep spiritual wisdom and navigate the unknown. 

Later associated with fairies and the fae, with the borders of our world and the mysterious world of the unseen.
