Meet the Psychic - Tyrell

Tyrell is the friendly and outgoing soul you always see on the shop floor, who also offers his psychic abilities to help people gain insight and empowerment. He is a part owner of Smudge, a family business founded by his mom, Michelle, in 2015.

Coming from a family with lineage of spiritual sensitivity and psychic awareness, Tyrell's gifts have been present from a very early age and have continued to develop through personal experience, spiritual discipline, and traditional teachings. 

Tyrell is initiated in an Afro-Cuban, earth centred religion, and has received his Mano de Orula. In the Ifá Orisha tradition, this is a sacred ceremony that formally connects the initiate with Orula/Orunmila, the Orisha of wisdom, divination, destiny, and spiritual guidance. It is considered an important step in one's spiritual path, offering protection, insight, and guidance connected to a person's destiny and life direction.

Through this initiation, upbringing, and his continued spiritual development, Tyrell is knowledgeable in root work, sympathetic and candle magic, herbal spiritualism, and psychic development. His abilities include mediumship, intuitive sight, energy reading, remote viewing, and spiritual journeying, often referred to as astral travel. 

As an Espiritista, he has the ability to assess whether the problem is physical or caused by an unevolved spirit draining the person's energy. Treatment often involves energy balancing rituals, prayers, herbal baths, or spiritual consultations to restore alignment. This practice enables him to bridge the physical and spiritual realms, and act as a channel for healing, guidance, and evolution.  Helping clients identify deeper spiritual concerns that may be affecting their lives, relationships, emotional well-being, or personal success.

His approach is not only to provide insight, but also to help clients feel empowered with practical spiritual steps, guidance, and procedures they can use to move toward a more positive and balanced place.

As a Medium, he is a conduit for spirit, and will relay to you what information your spirits want to relay to you at that time. This helps people gain closure, or receive messages form passed loved ones, when they are able. As someone who can walk between the worlds, he can view remotely to assess complex situations, describing the environment, person, home etc without physically being there. 

Being a child psychic, he helps other parents and children learn how to manage there unique abilities. This can sometimes very confusing and scary for parents and children alike, and being raised in a family who overcame challenges in this area, Tyrell, and his mom Michelle, are always there to help. He also has helped many develop their own abilities, while teaching protection and self care specific to each individual.

Tyrell operates with a high ethical code, is kind, yet straight forward, honouring honesty above what someone may want to hear. Having the ability to see the whole picture instead of immediate gratification, he focusses on sustainable success. If there is a client or situation that is beyond his scope of practice, a referral is made to the appropriate practitioner.

In addition to psychic and mediumship readings, Tyrell has begun offering assistance with house cleansings and spiritual baths, supporting clients in clearing stagnant, heavy energy or lower vibrational sprits from themselves and their spaces. This can be complicated for a client when given these instructions, so he is now assisting with this process. Each session is approached with care, honesty, confidentiality, and respect for the client's individual spiritual journey.
