High John the Conqueror Incense Powder

Burn High John the Conqueror Incense Powder when you are calling for courage, good luck, personal command, success, or victory over a difficult situation. Packaged in-house, this loose incense is suited to prayer, petitions, candle spells, money drawing, road opening, court case preparation, and rituals for strength, overcoming obstacles, and confidence.

High John the Conqueror is a celebrated figure in African American folklore and Hoodoo, remembered for his wit, resilience, courage, and ability to triumph over hardship. High John the Conqueror Root has long been used in root work to strengthen personal power, bring luck, support success, and help a person overcome opposition. Burning this incense brings those traditional intentions into the ritual through fragrant smoke.

Use it when you need the nerve to face an intimidating person or situation, want favourable movement in business or money matters, are preparing a petition for court or another high-stakes outcome, or need help pushing through delays and opposition. It can also be burned beside a dressed candle while praying for a blocked road to open or for your efforts to end in success.

• For confidence and command: Burn before an interview, meeting, negotiation, public appearance, or difficult conversation.
• For luck and success: Burn while praying over a money, business, employment, or opportunity petition.
• For victory: Burn beside court case, competition, or obstacle-removal candle work.
• For road opening: Burn when asking for delays, interference, and opposition to be cleared from your path.
• Format: Loose incense powder for use on a charcoal disc.
• Net weight: 22 g.

How to Burn

Place a charcoal disc in a fire-safe incense burner filled with sand or ash. Light the charcoal and wait until it is hot, then sprinkle a small pinch of incense powder on top. As the smoke rises, speak your prayer or read your petition aloud. Name the obstacle clearly, state the result you are seeking, and ask for the courage, luck, strength, or victory needed to meet it.

For candle or petition rituals, place the burner safely beside the candle or petition so the incense smoke rises through the ritual space. Add only a small amount at a time, and keep the loose powder away from the candle flame.

Safety: For ritual and aromatic use only. Do not ingest or inhale the loose powder. Burn only on charcoal in a fire-safe burner placed on a stable, heat-safe surface. Use in a well-ventilated area and keep away from children, pets, drafts, and flammable materials. Never leave burning incense or charcoal unattended.
