An aromatic plant mixture devoted to the glorious High John the Conqueror. Use this plant bath for good luck, to win in court, for protection, to draw money and to attract love.
How to prepare:
Prepare a pot of boiling water and pray over it, calling your ancestors, Esu, Elegua, to purify the water and help to prepare this bath for cleansing, conquering your enemies and obstacles, and opening the doors to opportunity, love, prosperity, etc. ask to cleanse my home and body (bath and floor wash) of negative energy, hexes, spells, and evil.
Remove the pot from the stove and cool for 10 minutes, add the herbs to the pot. Light a white candle, and add the herbs to the water. As you work the herbs with your fingers, pray to your ancestors, orisha or guides for help and cleansing. Talk to them about what you need.
Wait for water to cool and later remove herbs with strainer. Add a bit of Florida Water, a bit of rum. You can also blow tobacco smoke into the mixture as your pray to your ancestors.
Mix it into bucket with water to cleanse your home, or in your bath. You can separate into 3 parts to cleanse your home for 3 days if you are going through a spiritual war. Keep in the refrigerator.
Cleanse your home from front to back and cleanse your door. While washing ask for prosperity to come through your door.
Throw all the left over water used to cleanse your home away towards the street.
In your bath, wash upwards asking for blessings and to conquer all obstacles in your path.

Mandragora or more commonly known as Mandrake Root considered the most powerful root used in occult practices. Believed to attract love, fertility and prosperity. Mandrake is a Saturn plant, like most poisonous herbs. The elemental correspondence is Earth.
European Mandrake comes from several species of the genus Mandragora, a member of the nightshade family. Mandragora grows in the Mediterranean region, stretching eastward into parts of China. Mandrake was used in magical rituals, and also in early Chinese and European medicine as a pain reliever and sedative.
American Mandrake has a broad palmate leaf attached to a long stem. The shape of the plant gave rise to another nickname “Witch’s Umbrella.” I t was said, that witches harvested the plant to poison their enemies. Every part of the American Mandrake is poisonous: The leaves, the stems, the roots, the seeds, and the unripe fruit.
Besides protection and magical power, Mandrake is associated with fertility magic. In the book of Genesis (30:14-22), Rachel barters with her sister Leah for mandrakes so that she might conceive a child. Mandrakes are also mentioned in the long erotic poem Song of Songs (7:13).
“Mandrake” is the King James translation of a word more closely meaning “love-plant.” Some biblical scholars now believe that the “mandrake” of the Bible is ginseng or another plant thought to promote fertility.

Love Spells - For Existing Relationships, Romantic, Plutonic & Self-Love
In mid February love is everywhere. Whether you celebrate valentines day or not, it is undeniable that this event has a palpable energy. This day, and the days leading up to it and after it are recognized as being romantic, sultry, loving and caring.
As spiritual practitioners we have an opportunity to tap into this energy. The great majority of our community recognizes if not celebrates Valentines day. Why fight this energy when we can use it for our own good.
On a side note, love has the capability to alter our brain chemistry. In these states we are more susceptible to unethical love magic.
We already have an Attract Love & Intimacy Spell bath for you, but let’s dive into the different types of love you can attract into your life. Below you will find ways to harness the loving energy around us and use it to attract love of various varieties. Not just romantic love, but that of attracting plutonic chosen family and friends as well as self-love and increasing the love we already have in our lives.
A Spell To Attract New Love

A Spell To Increase Self-Love

Real self-love is about doing that which protects our personal power and supports us. We’re talking setting boundaries. Questioning your belief system. Practicing saying no. Breaking bad habits. Taking up space in this world. The tough love that will have a positive, lasting effect on our lives.
A tough love ritual bath is what I have in mind for you. You will need Bath salts, a Rose Quartz stone, a White chime Candle, Chamomile, Blessed Thistle, and Lemon Verbena. You will also need a heat proof pitcher for this ritual.
Hold the Chamomile in your dominant hand and imbue them with the self-love you wish to feel after this bath is complete. The gentle yet strong energy. Place it in the pitcher.
Hold your Blessed Thistle in your dominant hand and imbue it with the intention to purify and protect you. Visualize the herb drawing out the toxicity and specific aspects of yourself that no longer work for you. Place it in the pitcher.
Hold the Lemon Verbena in your dominant hand and imbue it with the intention to break bad habits, to bring out your inner beauty, and make others more receptive to it. Place it in the pitcher.

Love Magic vs. Self-Love Work: What Should You Be Doing Right Now?
February has a way of stirring things up. Even if you’re not the Valentine’s type, this time of year tends to bring love, relationships, longing, and reflection to the surface. I see it every season — people coming in asking about attraction candles, reconciliation work, or something to “make them notice me.”
And the question underneath all of it is usually this:
Should I be doing love magic… or should I be working on myself first?
It’s an honest question. And the answer isn’t always what people expect.
Love magic is powerful. It's one of my favourite types of magical workings. It can amplify attraction, strengthen bonds, reignite passion, and bring movement where things have gone stagnant. Tools like Adam & Eve candles, love & attraction work, or even a simple “Notice Me” candle can absolutely shift energy between two people.
But here’s the part that matters: love magic magnifies what you’re already carrying.
If you’re confident, open, and grounded, that energy gets amplified. If you’re anxious, fearful, or operating from a place of desperation, that gets amplified too.
Magic doesn’t judge — it reflects.
That’s where self-love work comes in. And I want to gently challenge something here: self-love work isn’t passive. It’s not “doing nothing.” It’s not giving up.
It’s alignment.
Self-love work is about strengthening your foundation. It’s clearing emotional residue from past relationships. It’s repairing your confidence. It’s reinforcing boundaries. It’s making sure that when love arrives, you’re strong enough to receive it without losing yourself.
Sometimes that looks like working with soft pink energy for compassion toward yourself. Sometimes it means cleansing old attachments. Sometimes it means doing protection work so you stop absorbing other people’s emotional chaos.

Now, let’s talk about colour energy for a moment, because this comes up constantly.

If someone tells me they want a long-term relationship but they’re reaching for deep red candles every time, I gently ask them to slow down.
What kind of love are you actually trying to build? Fast isn’t always stable. Intense isn’t always lasting.
The real shift happens when you stop asking, “How do I make them love me?” and start asking, “Am I attracting from wholeness or from fear?”

The most powerful approach I’ve seen — over and over again — is balance. Cleanse first. Clear your energy. Strengthen your confidence. Then, if you still feel aligned with the connection, do your attraction work from a steady place.
Love drawn from strength feels calm. It feels mutual. It feels safe.
And that’s the kind of love worth manifesting. If you’re unsure what you should be focusing on right now, pause before lighting anything. Sit with your energy. Ask yourself where you’re operating from.
Because the strongest magic doesn’t come from urgency. It comes from alignment. And when you align first, the right love doesn’t have to be forced — it finds its way to you.

5 Love Spells for Valentine's Day
Valentine's Day is Here!
Take a break from the cold and dark of February to celebrate a day dedicated to love! What started as an Ancient Roman Pagan holiday has since been turned into a day to show gratitude, admiration and loyalty to our loved ones. Love comes in all kinds and can take many different shapes; the love for our family, our friends, ourselves and of course our romantic partner.
Of course we love all love, but specifically Valentine’s Day is for the lovers. There are countless legends on the origins and Christianization of the special day, but a very common story takes place during the reign of the Roman Emperor, Claudius II.
The Emperor had decided men without wives and children made better soldiers, he outlawed marriage for young men. Saint Valentine had secretly continued to perform marriage rituals between young couples. When Claudius II found this out, he sentenced Valentine to death and doing so, Valentine became a martyr.
On Valentine’s Day, no matter the legend, love was always the focus. In our post, we will honour the day of lovers by listing 5 love spells you can do! Love spells can come in so many different forms and have so many different reasons, we suggest checking out our blog post on how to know if your love spells are ethical.
Love Enhancement Spells
Love enhancement spells are fun because they can be done with or without your partner. With a partner, it can be a fun activity and bonding moment but can still work doing it by yourself. With love enhancement spells, there must be love there between the couple already. Our favourite love enhancement spell is an old hoodoo formula called “Adam and Eve.” This formula can be found in candles, oils, incense and even mojo bags.
Adam and Eve Candle Spell
We choose our “Adam and Eve” candle and oil for the perfect combo for a simple candle spell. We love seven day candles because they relit over and over and that keeps the energy flowing for a longer period of time.
Along with the candle and oil, you will need a pen and paper to write your petition paper. Begin by writing your petition, trust your intuition on what to write but its good to be precise and simple. An example can be, “The love between me and N/A is strong, loyal and long lasting.” After writing, you can anoint your words with the “Adam and Eve” oil. This paper is to be placed underneath the candle. Now to dress the candle with the oil, you can poke three, deep holes in the top of the candle and add some oil droplets inside.
When lighting the candle, focus on your intention as you light the candle and you can say the same words as you wrote on your petition. Sit and meditate with the candle, focusing your thoughts and energy on your desired outcome.
To Keep a Lover Close
This next spell is one that takes seven days to complete. This spell comes in handy if there might be some distance between you and your partner and is done to bring you two closer which is physically represented by Adam and Eve Root.
Anoint each of the roots with Attraction, Come to Me or Adam and Eve oil and then place them at opposite sides of the room where they won’t be inferred with. You can place an attraction candle with you and your lover’s name inscribed in it to be relit every day. Every day, relight the candle and move the two pieces closer to each other.
On the seventh day, re-anoint the roots and place them in a red sachet to carry around with you.
Valentine’s Day Card
We all remember handing out Valentine’s Day cards to our classmates in grade school, why stop that tradition as we get older? There is something cute and youthful about Valentine’s Days cards. In a different origin legend of Valentine’s Day, that Valentine was the first to send such a greeting, signed, “from your Valentine” which is still used to this day.
For this spell, you can write your lover a card and be as sappy as you wish! When done, you can kiss the letter, to show your affection, before gently anointing the letter or envelope with Adam and Eve oil or Attraction oil. Writing is very energetically charged and our handwriting is like a fingerprint.
Lots of power can be manifested when we do this even if it seems as mundane as writing a letter. Anointing with oil is like a blanket wrapping it all together.
Love Attraction
Now it’s time for our singles who are ready to mingle! We have two different attraction spells for two different kinds of attracting love. We have one where we know a certain someone you would like to be with and want to bring them to you. The other is if you don’t have a person in mind but you wish to bring love into your life!
Come to Me
“Come to Me” is another old hoodoo formula that can be found in all manners just like “Adam and Eve.” This can be used when there is a specific person you would like to draw towards you. You will need a face-to-face lover candle, “Come to Me” oil and “Come to Me” powder. Inscribe you and their names on each of the figures and then anoint the candle with “Come to Me” oil and powder.
As you light the candle, think about this person being drawn to you and deepening the relationship. Keep your intentions clear and you can say out loud or in your head what you wish them to come to you.
Attraction Mojo Bag
If you are more so looking to attract potential partners in your life, you can create and carry around an attraction mojo bag on your person. There are so many possibilities of what you can add to a mojo bag but here is what we would choose to put in to attract love:
-red sachet bag
-tumbled rose quartz
-petition paper, “I attract the love I deserve.”
-rose petals
-cinnamon stick
-a pinch of patchouli
-lovage root
After adding these ingredients in the red mojo bag, anoint the bag with Attraction oil and continue to anoint the bag weekly/biweekly to keep the energy fresh and flowing to you.

5 signs your love spells are unethical
Love magic is a powerful tool that every magical practitioner should have in their arsenal. They can range from the tiniest acts of devotion to grand magical rituals with all the bells and whistles.
I perform a nightly love ritual by applying my eye cream onto my finger in the symbol of a heart. As I dab my moisturizer around my eyes I look at myself in the mirror and tell myself how much I love me.
But love is tricky, it can become obsessive. It can send us into thought spirals, cause delusions, cause anxiety, cause jealousy, and cause heart-break. We have the power to convince ourselves that we are in happy relationships and continue ignoring the blatant truth that is right before our eyes. We can convince ourselves that our lives will be complete so long as we find the right person.
Worst of all love can send us into obsession. Setting off a chemical reaction in our brain that can cause us to perform love magic from a place of desperation. Causing us to ignore our magical ethics. Before performing love magic it is important to access why we are casting the spell, who will it benefit, and will it cause harm to others.
Here are 5 warning signs that you may be casting your love spell in magically unethical ways.
You want someone without their consent
One thing we can all agree on as a society is how much being rejected sucks. It is such an unpleasant feeling that we may go out of our way to avoid situations that could end with a rejection.
If you’re considering doing love spell work on a person before you’ve blatantly expressed your interest to them, stop. First it’s important that you’ve told this person that you are interested in them. I’m not talking about subtle or even big hints but outright verbal communication.
If this is the case, a better solution might be to cast a general love spell for yourself, or even a confidence boosting spell to help you work up the nerve to share your feelings.
In my opinion, there is a difference between glamour magic and casting a love spell on a person. If I’m handing out resumes or going to an interview, you better believe that both my resume and my person are enchanted with some glamour magic to make me seem more appealing towards my future boss/workplace.
Whereas casting a love spell targeted at a specific person is blatant manipulation. I’ve had enough clients come through the store due to nasty love spells they’ve cast to tell you, with confidence, that it never works out well.
Breaking up an existing relationship
Let me be the first to tell you, the grass IS NOT always greener on the other side. This is doubly true if you’ve gained a new relationship through magical sabotage.
Yes is is awful to be pining over someone who is not available. Especially if you are infatuated with them. But using magic to break up an existing relationship is not the answer. The amount of “bad juju” that attracts is never worth it. The backlash from that spell will leave you feeling miserable. Are you willing to pay the price?
Additionally, the manipulated person you’ve formed a new relationship with hasn’t come to your side from their own free will. Chances are it’s going to get toxic. Resentment will form, their eyes could stray, misplaced anger can bubble up. Performing a love spell to break up an existing relationship leaves so much room for toxicity to spread.
Even if you aren’t interested in any of the people involved in that relationship, don’t do it. Maybe you’re spiteful that they have something you’ve never had. Jealousy is a powerful emotion. Take a step back and evaluate where it’s coming from.
Instead of spending your finite time and energy into sabotaging someone try a spell that would make your life better. I promise you, improving your own life will result in a more favourable outcome.
Using magic to fool yourself
Maybe you’ve performed a spell over and over again and never got the results you were looking for. Maybe you’ve amped up your spell, poured even more of your personal power into it, and yet, it has never worked out for you.
Instead of doing the same thing over and over again we have to evaluate what we are holding onto that is blocking our results. There could be a contradicting belief there. How do you benefit from your spell not working.
For instance, I could not attract more money no matter how many spells and how much energy I poured into them. After taking a deep look I recognized that the only way for me to gain more money was either to work more or raise my prices. There was no way I was going to work more because it would take time away from my family and I wasn’t willing to raise my prices because I didn’t feel deserving of them. So nothing changed.
This equally applies to love magic. I found myself in relationships that mirrored the toxic relationship style I had learned from my parents who had learned it from their parents. I had to reevaluate my internalized beliefs in order to break that cycle. This shadow work was difficult and it took years, but it was all worth it.
Knowing your attachment style is a helpful tool for relationships. Attachment styles is a concept created by psychiatrist and psychoanalyst John Bowlby. According to Bowlby, The bond you have with your caregivers as a child creates a template or rules for how you build and interpret relationships as an adult. There are four attachment styles: three insecure and one secure.
The four attachment styles
Anxious (also referred to as Preoccupied)
Avoidant (also referred to as Dismissive)
Disorganized (also referred to as Fearful-Avoidant)
Secure
Those with an anxious attachment style deeply fear abandonment. They view their partners as better than themselves, their “better-halves” and therefor their partners are more deserving of love than they are themselves. Those with an anxious attachment style highly value their relationship, but tend to be hypervigilant around threats to its security leading towards anxiety.
Those who are Hyper-independent often have an avoidant attachment style. Their need to avoid relying on other is often tied to avoiding intimacy or emotional closeness. These individuals have a positive outlook on themselves and a negative view of others. They do not want to depend on others, have others depend on them, or seek support and approval in social bonds.
Individuals with a disorganized attachment style tend to avoid deep emotional connections due to the fear of getting hurt. For adults with disorganized attachment, the partner and the relationship themselves are often the source of both desire and fear. On the one hand, fearful-avoidant people do want intimacy and closeness, but on the other hand, experience troubles trusting and depending on others.
the secure attachment style implies that a person is comfortable expressing emotions openly. Therefore, adults with a secure attachment style can depend on their partners and, in turn, let their partners rely on them. These individuals thrive both. In relationships and on their own. Secure attachments have a positive view of themselves and those around them.
Developing self-awareness and achieving self-growth with the help of a therapist can greatly help you to achieve a secure attachment style. You just need to be willing to do the work and put in the effort.
Using magic to control or bind someone
In my experience, control magic or binding magic always comes with a price. I once hot footed an ex and used the bend over conjure oil to have them move out of the building. It was in self-defence, to keep my family safe, but there was some anger and ill intent behind my emotions. They indeed moved out, but I ended up with second degree burns from a soup I spilled onto my foot. The irony of hot footing someone and in turn I burnt my foot was not lost on me.
When you work this kind of magic it is coming to ask for aid from spirits. But what spirits are going to answer that calling card? They’ll have grey if not black morals, they will attach themselves to you or to others, and they’ll want a BIG price for their services.
Are you willing to pay that price?
On the opposite side, try and imagine what that feels like. Signs that you are under a control spell include feeling like a cat in a bag around the person who cast the spell on you, an impulse to anger, feeling agitated, confined. You’ll feel compelled to do things you normally wouldn’t do. Additionally the person who cast the spell on you will randomly pop into your head throughout you day.
There is a very distinctive sign between needing to energetically cleanse and being under someone else's influence.
If the person you cast a control or binding spell on does any cord-cutting, uncrossing, reversal or deep cleansing work you’re in for a huge slap back of energy. Be warned.
Using magic from Infatuation
When I speak about infatuation I am talking about the physical and emotional chemical reaction that happens in your body due to someone else’s chemicals. The desperate need to be around them, the obsession about what they’re doing, if they’re thinking about you, needed to talk to them. Living in a fantasy world where you make up stories and imagine time spent between the two of you.
I personally hate infatuation. It’s so uncomfortable. I dislike not having agency over my own thoughts. That person takes up way too much mental real estate. I like being able to choose where my thoughts go.
Fortunately this is only a temporary, but overwhelming reaction. A good rule of thumb, if you have an obsessive desire to gain a persons affection, do not perform a love spell on them.
Performing love magic under this influence will be cast under a lens of desperation. If you haven’t seen the movie practical magic I suggest you do. Be prepared to deal with an overly clingy, obsessive person who will try to bind you to themselves.
Ethical Love Magic
Love magic is a powerful tool for personal growth and success when used in the correct context. I use attraction magic all the time to manifest specific intentions into my life.
Love magic is easily one of the best tools when you’re working on self-growth. You can use it to deepen your relationship with yourself. You can use it to integrate your darker aspects during your shadow work. You can use it to build a thriving relationship with yourself.
Note that if you are in a bad or toxic relationship and you perform love magic in order to build you up and fall in love with yourself, don’t be surprised if it pushes your partner out of your life.
Love magic is especially powerful when you are fresh out of a relationship. We tend to take on aspects of our ex partners. It’s a powerful tool to rediscover your authentic self and clear away all that which is no longer serving you.
A rule of thumb for love magic is that it has to be consensual between all parties involved.
That being said, if you are in a healthy relationship love magic is wonderful to help strengthen and build upon your existing bond. If you are in a rut with your partner and you both want to work on the relationship then I suggest trying out some love magic.
Love magic is a wonderful tool to have in your arsenal. You can use it on a daily basis by anointing your moisturizer to your face with heart symbols or you can perform big rituals involving baths, herbs and candles like in our love and attraction bath ritual.
Perform love magic in an ethical way or be any the price. Using love magic to improve your life will bring lasting results as opposed to using love magic to tear someone else’s life apart. Be ethical, be responsible and attract what your heart desires.

Plants and herbs are a staple among magical practitioner. Sage to cleanse, chamomile to calm and roses for love. These are three well known herbal correspondences known to the magical and the mundane community alike.
Herbs have such a wide range of use. You can use them in food to ingest your magic or you can use them to dress magical candles to add another layer of power and intent. The uses are vast. With a little creativity you can incorporate herbs into almost every magical practice.

Creating magical incense
Magical incense blends are a combination of loose, dry herbs you can purchase in store or make yourself. You can burn them over a charcoal puck in a fire safe container on a bed of sand or salt or over a bonfire.
The benefits to creating your own magical incense is that it is loaded with your intention for your specific purpose. By combining three or more herbs with appropriate correspondences for your intention you can create a powerful tool.
A recipe for a magical incense to help you divine includes mugwort and willow bark to help strengthen your divination abilities combined with dandelion root to call in the spirits. With a little creativity you can create a loose, magical incense blend for just about anything.
Magical Baths
Submerging your body into water steeped with specific herbs is a powerful way of integrating that energy into yourself. You can leave the herbs, plants and flowers free floating for a luxurious experience, or keep them in an organza bag for easy cleanup. You can add stones, music and intention dressed candles to boost the magic.
If I were taking a bath for self love I would include roses, calendula and rosemary. I’d submerge a rose quartz or three into the bath with me and I’d light a red candle that’s been covered in rosemary oil for clarity of mind and crushed, dried rose petals for love.

Magical Sachets
A magical sachet, also known as a mojo bag, is a small, cloth bag filled with curios with intent to draw in or keep away a specific energy. You can use various herbs, oils, stones or small items that are significant to your intention.
If I created a mojo bag to attract new opportunities I’d add rosemary for mental clarity, sugar or honey to attract sweetness, spearmint for wealth and luck, lemon balm as a road opener, green adventuring for wealth, and a key to open doors.
If I were to create a magical sachet for protection I’d add nettle for privacy and defence, dandelion for strength, black tourmaline to draw negativity off of me, pyrite to strengthen my aura, rosemary to send back the energy from where it came and an evil eye charm.
When creating sachets its also excellent to burn a candle with intention to charge up your mojo bag. You can also ask your spirit guides and your ancestors to add some energy.

Magical Teas
Magical teas are a quick way to ingest your magic and shift your energy and mindset. Be sure to only use herbs that are safe for ingestion! Stick to your spice rack, and if not please proceed with caution.
Drinking tea can be a ritual all to itself. Choosing the intention you want to bring forth and mindfully choosing the herbs is a calming practice in awareness. I like to hold my herbs in my hand and whisper my intention over top of them three times. Steeping the tea in the water provides an opportunity to warm your hands and infuse your tea further with your intention.
If you are adding sweeteners you can use the opportunity to attract sweetness into your life. While stirring your tea recite out loud your intention three times, feeling your energy flow from your heart centre down your spoon into your tea. If you’re attracting something into your life stir clockwise, if you’re cleansing yourself stir counter clockwise.
Sit with your tea, feel the warmth seep through your hands into your body. Take a sip and feel the magic enter your body as you swallow. Feel it permeate your body, mind and spirit. As you drink your tea visualize your intention coming true. How would it feel, look, taste, smell, what would it sound like? Use all your senses.

Pisces New Moon, February 2025
This year has been full of transformation already, and this New Moon in Pisces is putting the focus on you! It's time to get ready for the major shifts and changes that are coming about this New Moon! The Pisces New Moon on February 27th is the last lunar cycle of the astrological, and whisking us into Eclipse Season.
This moon will be an impactful one and will open a portal into one of the most transformative points of the year. It's time to connect with your innermost self, and celebrate you. This is a good time to get in touch with your intuition, do some divination for spirit communication, and remember that you have an inner child who desires compassion and empathy.
The New Moon is a beginning of a new cycle, and when the moon is dark, it's time to sit quiet and examine are deepest self. Set goals, do spells and plant the seeds of intention. A time of reflection and personal growth. It is believed that as the moon grows, that your intention or goal will grow too usually by the time the moon completes its cycle and returns full circle to new again.
If your Sun sign is in Pisces, or if you are a sensitive person, you might feel extra sensitive and emotional, this manifesting in being scattered and feeling unbalanced, overly emotional and vulnerable. Workings & Rituals for the Pisces New Moon:
Working with the Element of Water: This is the perfect time to connect with the element of Water. You can do this by taking a ritual or meditation bath, putting some water on your altar as an offering. Meditating on the qualities of water such as cooling, flowing through difficult situations, strength etc. Put a bowl of water out under the moon to use in a bath, wash your alter, floors etc. to bring in new beginnings and a fresh start.
Road Opening to remove obstacles from your path and attract what you desire: For this Pisces New Moon, you can intentions and do workings to embrace your talents, be more confident, and to express your unique self with confidence. If you feel blocked or need some clarity, a road opening spell can help you with this. When you do road opening work, I find it doesn't magically clear your path, but illuminates what is blocking you. Doing road opening workings will help you move forward, removing any personal blocks you might have with your creativity, goals, or even yourself. There are many things you can do such as a ritual bath and a Candle spell. For a road opening bath you can use a traditional herbal bath, or mix your own herbs such as Abre Camino, Cinquefoil, lemongrass etc. add some Kananga Water for removing any negativity. For your candle spell, dress a Road Open or Orange candle with Abre Camino oil, write what you want to achieve and to remove anything that is standing in your way. Put the paper under your candle and burn down fully. Over the next few weeks, be mindful of the signs and events going on that are pointing you in the right direction. Be aware that events might kick up such as finding out the truth about someone, yourself, or something suddenly changing unexpectedly. Always remember that in the end, your spirit guides are clearing your path for something new, even if it's unpleasant in the moment. You got this!

The holidays are around the corner and if you are the crafty type creating presents is the perfect way to gift magic to your loved ones. In this blog post I’ll be sharing a variety of ways to turn mundane gifts into ones filled with magic.
It is important to keep in mind that practicing magical ethics is crucial to bless your loved one with positive energy. Please use respect and practice consent. For instance, my grandparents are devoted Christians. If I were to gift them magic I’d first ask them if it’s okay to gift them positive energy and I’d work with the arch angels, the christian deities and beliefs.
Once you have your loved ones consent and boundaries there are many different ways to add sigils to your gifts. First Create your sigil, incorporate it into your gift and charge it to activate it.
Add sigils to your gifts:
Draw a sigil for luck and prosperity in the new year on all your holiday cards and tags.
Using a sharpie draw a sigil for pleasant surprise on the inside of the wrapping paper.
If you’re painting them a gift, whether it be a painting, a print, a ceramic mug or anything else, add your sigil to the bottom layer and paint on top of it.
Gift them a framed picture and add the sigil behind the photo.
Draw your sigil on natural paper and add it into the soil of a gifted plant.
Create seed paper and add the sigil to it once it’s dry.
When gifting baked goods carve a sigil for health into the tops of cookies, cakes, loaf, etc.
Draw a sigil for attracting love onto a bay leaf and add it to oil and herb infused bath salts.
Use a wood burning tool to transform any wood surface into a magical work of art. Carve a sigil to never go hungry into a cutting board or charcuterie board.
Use a dremel to carve sigils into metal, stone or glass surfaces.
Create a rune set.
Add a sigil for energy onto the bottom of a coffee mug.
Stitch a sigil for protection into scarves, bags, hats, and any other clothing you are gifting.
When making coffee or hot chocolate put the cream in a food syringe and draw a sigil for joy onto the surface of the warm beverage.
Brew yourself a cup of magical tea by using a toothpick, draw a sigil for a peaceful sleep with honey on the bottom of your cup before adding water.
However you choose to incorporate magic into your gifts, whether it be by charging an object on an altar, adding essential oils, or basking them under the light of the full moon, make sure to honour the elements and or deities imbuing their magic by gifting them an offering.
Sigils are one of my go to ways to inconspicuously add magic into my home. It is the perfect way to add magic to loved ones gifts without it screaming witch.
