Rue, Ruda plant bath is used for cleansing, purification, hex reversal and attracting good luck and love. This package contains dried Rue leaves.
Rue is commonly used in Santeria, Hoodoo, and other West-African traditional religions as well as Pagan, Wiccan, and Folk Magic traditions. Rue is believed to have the power to ward off negative energy and malevolent spirits, break curses and hexes, and attract love and good luck.
In Santeria, rue is used in cleansing ceremonies called despojos, as well as in purifying baths and herbal infusions. In Pagan, Wiccan, and Folk Magic traditions, rue is commonly used for protection, banishing negative energy, and as a protection herb against curses, hexes, and the Evil Eye. It is associated with the planets Mars and Saturn, the element fire, and the goddesses Hecate and Diana.

In many spiritual and religious traditions, rue is believed to have the power to attract good luck and prosperity, and is often used in spells and rituals to draw money and financial abundance.
Instructions:
The oldest tradition in ritual bathing uses special herbs to impart certain essences conducive to love-getting, money-drawing, protection from evil, or the removal of curses. This method of preparation is generally to steep the herbs in boiling water, strain the mixture, let the liquid cool, and pour it over the body while standing in a wash tub.

Rue is one of my favourite, and most trusted plant ali for protection, cleansing, removal of negative spirits, etc. Add this oil to just about anything for strong protection, deep energetic cleansing, reversal and evil eye magic, and removing negative blocks.
Rue, also known as ruda or the queen of herbs, is native to the Mediterranean area. The Rue plant has been used in magic rituals since ancient times and will generally be used today in Wicca and Santeria. Fresh rue herb is the most commonly used, but there are also benefits that come from using rue candles, rue soap and rue floor wash.
Rue is associated with the planets Mars and Saturn and the element fire. It is also associated with the goddesses Hecate and Diana.
In Santeria, Rue is one of the more popular plants a santero will use in purification rituals. In cleansing ceremonies called despojos, the plants will be tied together in bunches and rubbed on a person. Rue is often an ingredient in purifying baths used to rid the bather of evil spirits or negative influences. Fresh rue herb is typically used in rituals, however some gain its benefits from rue soap, rue bath and floor wash, as well as from burning rue candles.
Santeria is a belief system that combines African and Spanish religious traditions. Much of Santeria revolves around the Orishas, who can be described as saints or guardian angels. Every follower of Santeria has their own Orisha, and they make a point of learning who it is, so they can pay the proper respect to him or her.
Rue in Wicca. Wicca has eight major holidays or sabbats, all of which have their own rituals. Rue plants are used in three of them: Beltane (May 1), Litha (June 21), and Mabon (September 21). Beltane is considered a good time to cast love, protection or prosperity spells, and rue is often used in the first two. One ritual associated with Beltane is gathering the first herbs of the season.
Litha is a time to celebrate passion, work and success. It is also a good time for casting protection and love spells. Herbs harvested during Litha are believed to make magic spells exceptionally powerful. Mabon celebrates the autumn equinox and is a good time for casting protection spells.
Rue is a common element in protection magic. A Wiccan can mix dried rue with spring water and sprinkle it around the home to remove a jinx or invite peaceful vibrations. Putting a bag of rue above the front door wards off the evil eye.

🧂 Saltpeter | Purification, Binding & Traditional Folk Magic
Saltpeter (Potassium Nitrate) has a long history in folk practice and household tradition. In magical folkcraft it’s been used in small, careful amounts as a ritual salt for purification, binding, and protection work, and as an ingredient in certain traditional formulas for warding and household rites.
While saltpeter is a potent mineral with practical uses beyond the spiritual, within metaphysical practice it’s valued for its ability to stabilize, preserve, and set energetic boundaries—helpful when strengthening protections, finishing banishing workings, or creating lasting cord bindings in charm making.
🔮 Common Metaphysical Uses:
🛡️ Protection & Binding: Used sparingly in protective jars, boundary spells, or placed around thresholds to reinforce wards.
🧹 Purification & Clearing: Employed as a heavy, stabilizing salt in cleansing mixes intended to remove persistent negative influences.
🔗 Preservation & Endings: In some folk practices it is used in rites that aim to preserve results or close cycles with firmness.
🏠 Household Wards: Placed at entry points or under doormats as an added stabilizing layer for home protection (use sealed containers).
