Cascarilla is made from powdered egg shells. It is used to expel negative energy in all its forms. It creates a barrier between the natural and supernatural realms.

In Santaria you draw crucifixes on objects & one's own body to shield harmful energy from entering. You can add it to baths & floor washes for purification and protection. You can use a seven day candle with other spiritual products, such as with condition oils and herbs, but many people also use them alone as a vigil candle.
