Ancestor Pillar Candle - scented

The Ancestor scented spell candle by Lailokens Awen is for honouring and calling on your beloved dead. Light it on your ancestor altar to open the way, give an offering of light, and ask for the guidance and protection of those whose blood and stories you carry.

Use when feeling stressed, lost, or when you need to connect to your roots, to connect to the wisdom of the ages, or to make peace with an ancestor. Made on the day of Saturn and in the hour of the Moon. Handcrafted in ritual space using essential oils of Frankincense, Cedarwood, and Clove Bud.

Handcrafted using fully refined paraffin wax and organic essential oils. Made using hermetic principles, and respecting astrological correspondences. Packaged with biodegradable cellophane and paper labels. Variations in colour may occur between batches.

Candle burning tips: Trim wick to 1/4” prior to initial burn. During the first burn, allow wax pool to reach the edge of the candle, then extinguish the flame. Let the wax cool completely before burning a second time. This will help create an even burn and prevent tunneling of the wax along the sides. Keep wick trimmed to 1/4” for all subsequent burns. Do not burn for more than 2 hours at a time.

How to Work It

• Set the candle on your ancestor altar with photos, names, or keepsakes of those you're calling on
• Write a petition paper naming your ancestors and what you're asking of them, and place it beneath the candle
• Dress the candle while speaking their names, and offer water, food, flowers, or incense alongside it
• Sit with the flame, talk to them, and listen
