Instructions for a 4 litre/1 gallon of iced tea:

- Place tea bag in 1 litre of boiling water

- Steep for 5 minutes. Over steeping will make the tea bitter.

- Squeeze tea bag as you remove it.

- Add 1 litre or 1 quart of ice cubes and 2 litres/quarts of cold water.
