Devil's Shoestring is a species of Viburnum, usually Viburnum alnifolium. Devil's Shoestring is one of the most powerful, and difficult to acquire, roots used in New Orlean's Witchcraft and Louisiana Voodoo/Hoodoo practices.

3 pieces of Devil’s Shoestring for good luck
Cinnamon chips to heat the work and draw good luck
A whole High John the Conqueror root for cunning
A red flannel bag
Van Van Oil
