Sacred Space Herbal Blend

As an experienced magical protection I set up permanent sacred space where I spend the majority of my time. I have sacred space set up in my home, in my car and in my office/workspace. This makes it so that I don’t have to do daily cleanses or set up sacred space every time I want to perform a spell. 

Please note that for BIG work and ceremony I do set additional sacred space. I also cleanse and reset my permanent sacred space on a monthly basis. Often this is what I do as a full moon ritual. 

I offer you a permanent sacred space solution for your personal magical practice. This herbal blend can be used as:

• a floor/surface wash
• in a bath
• For your candle dressings

REQUIRED MATERIALS:

• Rue
• Lemongrass Cut
• Solomon's Seal Root
• Bay Leaf
• Frankincense Resin
• Clear & Protect Oil
• Bath Tea Bags
• Black Taper Household Candles 6"
• Jet Tumbled medium
• Black Tourmaline - Medium

Begin by cleansing your Jet and Tourmaline by running them under cold water for 30 seconds. Cleanse the remaining of your materials or tools with a smoke bath. 

Cleanse your space and with all your materials readily available create your sacred space.

Preparing The Herbal Blend For A Floor/Surface Wash

Place some Rue herb in your palm and whisper gently to it your intention. Add a drop of the oil into the pile of herb and place it in the Bath Tea Bags. 

Repeat this process for the remaining herbal ingredients. 

Bring a pot of water to a boil and step your tea bag in the boiling water for at least 5 minutes. While it is steeping you can stir the water with a wooden spoon in a counter clockwise motion. 

Visualize a fiery wall of flame around your space. Visualize unwanted energies, unwanted peopled, and unwanted situations being repelled by the protective wall of flame. Breathe your intention down your arm and into the pot 3 times and whisper your intention.

Once the floor wash is cooled you can remove the bag and store it in a spray bottle in the fridge for up to a week. You this floor wash to cleanse your floors, your doors, your windows and any hard surface. 

Preparing The Herbal Blend For A Ritual Bath

Draw your bath adding the protection herbal blend loosely into the warm water or in a Bath Tea Bag. Submerge your Jet & tourmaline stones into the bath for added protection.

Spend 10-30 minutes in the bath deeply concentrating on the protection you feel surrounding your body. Feel the protective energy of the bath surround you, creating a thick layer around your aura. This is your time, experience the luxury of your bath, the more connected to it you are the stronger your protection. Once your finished step out onto your floor confident in the energetic protective shield you have created. 

Combine the bath ritual with the dressed candle ritual for an added layer of power.

Preparing The Herbal Blend To Use As A Candle Dressing

Begin by cleansing your candle by running it under cold water for 30 seconds. Take 3 full breaths while holding your candle and visualize a fiery wall of flame around your space. Visualize unwanted energies, unwanted peopled, and unwanted situations being repelled by the protective wall of flame. Breathe your intention onto your candle 3 times and whisper your intention.

To dress your candle first choose a symbol or create a sigil for protection. A shield works like a charm. Carve your symbol or sigil and your intention onto your candle. Next run the Clear & Protect oil over top of your candle. Move in a counter clockwise direction from the the bottom to top to repel unwanted energy from your space. Finally apply the protection herbal blend to your oiled candle. Once your candle is fully dressed and charged place your candle in a fire safe container on your altar.

Don't forget to dispose of your candle in an ethical way.

Preparing The Herbal Blend For A Sachet

Mojo Bags are powerful amulets, made with a collection of various magical herbs, crystals, and charms which has been prepared, charged and fixed for a particular purpose. A mojo bag is among the simplest and most effective methods for engaging magickal assistance. Other names for these charms include nation sack, mojo hand, gris gris, conjure bag and toby. 

Write your intention down on the scrap of Kraft paper. You can use “my personal and physical space is always protected from unwanted energy” and/or another intention of your own creation. Anoint the paper with a drop of Clear & Protect Oil. 

Roll the anointed scrap of paper up away from you, bind it with thread and place in inside your mojo bag. 

Place some Rue herb in your palm and whisper gently to it your intention. Add a drop of the oil into the pile of herb and place it in the bag. 

Repeat this process for the remaining herbal ingredients. 

Add a drop of the Oil onto your Jet stone. While you massage in the oil repeat your intention and visualize an energetic shield protecting you from unwanted energy. When your stone is charged with protection magic place it into the bag.

Repeat the above step with the tourmaline and place it into the mojo bag.

Close of your bag and knot the bag securely at the top with three knots repeating the following phrases:

"With knot of one, the spell's begun.
With knot of two, the spell be true.
With knot of three, the spell is free."

Close your eyes and spend the following 10 minutes visualizing all the unwanted energy leaving you alone thanks to this mojo bag. Use all your senses. Push that built up energy into your bag. 

Once you are happy with your mojo bag and feel that it's fully charged close down your sacred space and clean up your mess. 

Begin carrying your protective mojo bag around or place it in the space you want to protect. 

Mojo bags can be maintained through regular 'feedings' (recharging). There are a variety of ways which this can be done, including but not limited to moon charging, incense smoke and attraction oils, and anointing with liquor.

Preparing The Herbal Blend As An Incense Blend

Place the herbs one by one in your palm and whisper gently to them your intention.

Store in a dry and clean container. When you want to use your incense blend for a protective smoke bath light a charcoal puck and place the herbs on top of it. 

Allow the smoke to full saturate each room, each corner, underneath surfaces and in drawers.
